How to install the licence file in Profit Manager

Prior to installing your licence file in Profit Manager the steps below assume you have downloaded and installed the Community version of Profit Manager, purchased a licence (http://www.profitmanager.co.uk/Buy_Profit_Manager.php) and that you have received your licence by email.

I am using Outlook 2007 to receive emails but similar email programs will work in a similar way:

1. Save the attached licence file to your PC.

- With your mouse, right-click on the attached licence file and press Save As...
- Select an appropriate Folder on your PC and press Save. Please make a note of the folder you have saved to.

2. From the Licence window in Profit Manager (under Help/Licence) press "Open Licence File" and select the Licence file from step 1.

- Start Profit Manager
- Select Help and then License... in the top menu.
- Press the "Open Licence File" button.
- Select the licence file (FullLicense.lic) from step 1. and press Open.

3. Type in the following information in the Licence window in Profit Manager -

- Enter the details from the email in the fields for Name, Company, Email and Licence.

4. Press OK

You have now successfully installed the licence file and you are now running the full Professional version.
